An increase in armed robbery against local shops has been recorded since the beginning of November in Saint-Martin.
Last Tuesday, around 19:30 p.m., two or even three Chinese convenience stores were victims of armed robberies, always with the same operating mode.
Two helmeted individuals, including one in possession of a handgun, burst into a business located in front of the Alberic Richards stadium and grabbed the contents of the box before leaving with his accomplice on a two wheeler.
In the process, the two criminals robbed another convenience store located after the Sandy-Ground bridge.
Finally, according to witnesses, a third and last grocery store located in the direction of Nettle Bay was visited by the two individuals. Information that remains to be confirmed, the victim has not yet filed a complaint with the Gendarmerie.
