Cyclone season: A new tropical depression to watch…

0

An active wave quickly developed in the morning while it was still near the African coast. It has become tropical depression # 12 and can threaten the West Indies within 8 to 12 days.

It grows quickly and could go into a storm overnight.

The trajectory forecast is up to date on the map (see below) and given the distance, it is too early to be precise on a real threat but it is necessary to monitor this phenomenon.

At 11 am yesterday, it was located 155 km northwest of the Cape Verde Islands, the constant winds are 55 km / h. She travels on a west heading at 22km / h.

If its development continues as planned by the NHC, it would become tropical storm KARL.
