rugby: Stade Thelbert Carti / The great feast of ovalism with young people and women!

It was through a sporting day, punctuated by football and rugby matches, that the Collective chose to formalize the return to activity of the Thelbert Carti stadium in Quartier d'Orléans.

In the early morning, Charles Henri Palvair, director of youth, sport, culture and associative life of the Collectivity, gave a technical presentation of the new installations, before giving way to the aspiring footballers from sections 6 / 11 years old. No less than 200 children divided into 15 teams then set foot on the new synthetic lawn.

In the afternoon, the Archiball and Saint-Martin Rugby Union rugby clubs took over, with beautiful clashes on the field, not to mention the remarkable performance of the Archigirls women's team, which delighted the public .

The presence of many parents in the stands created a very friendly atmosphere, their encouragement and applause towards the young shoots were much appreciated. The enthusiasm of parents, children and technical staff largely contributed to the success of this sports day.

The Collectivity of Saint-Martin would like to thank all the people and the many volunteers who gave their time for the children.

Note that the official inauguration of the Thelbert Carti stadium will take place on November 11, during the festivities of "Saint-Martin's Day" in Quartier d'Orléans. _AF
