On the occasion of their big debut in the women's championship, a "first" in the history of rugby in Guadeloupe, the Archigirls did not deserve it but bowed at the Bellevue stadium.
Laurent Ninutaglia, the Archigirls coach, is proud of the performance of his players after this first day of the 1-a-side women's championship which took place at the Bellevue stadium.
Faced with opponents better experienced in this kind of exercise, the Archigirls delivered good performances, especially against Saint-François where they bowed by a very small point. Next meeting, January 23, 2016 at Abymes, on behalf of the 2nd day of the championship.
Note that the female teams, present at the Bellevue stadium last weekend, observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the Paris attacks. _AF
