Large rugby day last Saturday in Bellevue on the occasion of the resumption of the male and female championship where the local teams stood out!

The program was indeed enticing with the opening of the women's championship at seven and then the first meeting of the Honor championship between the Archiball and Saint-François.

Among girls, the Entente des Iles du Nord, which brings together the Archigirls and Rascasses de Saint-Barthélemy, was opposed to the large stables of Guadeloupe; the BRUC des Abymes, the Good Luck de Gosier and the Entente Goyave-Bastruc, made up of members of the Rugby Club de Goyave and the Basse-Terre Rugby Club.

Overall, Jérôme Dubernet's daughters performed well, winning notably against the Entente Goyave-Bastruc and standing up to the Good-Luck, future winner of the tournament ahead of the BRUC, the Entente des Iles du North going up on the third step of the podium.

"The girls displayed an excellent state of mind throughout the tournament," said the coach. “Honestly, I am satisfied with their behavior. They are on the right track. It bodes well for the rest of the season. ”

Archiball: a convincing "first" ...

Second highlight of the day: the first meeting of Archiball counting for the Honor championship.

Opposed to Saint-François, the local XV delivered a serious and applied match and logically imposed on the mark from 24 to 5. Now remains to confirm this good result in the coming weeks against the other formations of the group. A task that will not necessarily be easy for the men of President Philippe Salvat. _AF
