The Executive Council approved, on June 24, the renovation of the football field of the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium in Marigot.
This decision is part of the project led by the Collective to rebuild the three stadiums in Saint-Martin, all of them badly damaged by Irma.
The Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium will be equipped with a synthetic lawn. A request for a subsidy from the National Sports Agency will be submitted to support the Collectivity in the financing of this development.
Football enthusiasts in Saint-Martin are now impatiently awaiting the arrival of the famous synthetic lawn.
