Freshly created, the "Heart and Health SXM / SBH" club is organizing a Heart Course which will take place on Saturday April 6 at the Jardins de Bellevue from 6 am to 30 noon.
The “SXM / SBH Heart and Health” club is affiliated to the French Federation of Cardiology (1st association for the fight against cardiovascular diseases in France). This association has the following social missions:
Support for cardiovascular prevention through prevention and information campaigns on public. Among the major events planned for 2019 will therefore be the Parcours du Coeur on April 6, 2019 in the Bellevue Garden. A general and festive event which combines:
• The promotion of physical activities to make the public an actor of their health.
• Awareness of a balanced diet, in order to reduce the risks of cholesterol, diabetes and obesity.
• The fight against smoking, the main avoidable risk of cardiovascular disease.
• Friendliness and social ties, positive for health.
Without forgetting cardiovascular research, the promotion of life-saving actions and finally support for cardiac patients in their social and professional reintegration following a cardiovascular accident, and “secondary” prevention with cardiac patients on the risk of recurrence.
