To boost the economy of Saint Martin, Louis Mussington, head of the Justice and Prosperity Movement (MJP) list, announced last week in press point several proposals including the construction of a dock for cruising and mega-yachts.
"We do not want to compete with Pointe Blanche," said the candidate in the territorial elections. The objective is to attract customers with high purchasing power in the French part. The community's waterfront development project is an “aberration” according to Mr. Mussington: “It is out of the question to envisage such a development.” The MJP wants to “do everything to rehabilitate the existing, abandoned buildings in the city in order to create more commercial space”._EH
