Reminder on the implementation of the relief fund in Saint-Martin

0

Following the passage of Hurricane IRMA on September 5 last on Saint-Martin, a relief fund, an expression of national solidarity, is set up by the overseas ministry.

WHO CAN BENEFIT ?

Subject to acceptance of files and for uninsured property:

- Individuals in a difficult economic and social situation. Indeed, the threshold of resources required to benefit from the relief fund takes into account the level of resources of the affected household and the number of dependents of the applicant.

People benefiting from social minima or having an income equal to or lower than the minimum income (minimum wage or equivalent) are particularly concerned by the system;

- Very small craft or family businesses;

- Fishermen and farmers.

WHERE TO SUBMIT THE FILE AND INQUIRE?

The persons affected by this compensation scheme must all be identified before 30 November next. They can already begin to list lost or damaged objects and build up a file base with, as far as possible, all proofs of purchase and documents relating to their means test.
