Crowdfunding is an alternative to banks and other traditional funders. Bulb in Town has the particularity of supporting artisans, traders, manufacturers, farmers and associations. “We are focusing on real economy projects” explains Alice Lauriot dit Prévost, responsible for partnerships and marketing. Since June 2016, Bulb in Town has signed a partnership agreement with Initiative Saint Martin Active. The aim is for Initiative advisers to direct project leaders to this platform. The first fruit of this collaboration is the campaign of Kasa Mapou, the first eco-responsible youth hostel in Saint-Martin.
