The P'tit tour USEP maternale de Saint-Martin is an urban hike for students aged 3 to 5. More than 200 kindergarten students participated in the 2016 edition.

Designed in an interdisciplinary perspective to give students the opportunity to reinvest structured learning during PSE orientation sessions, the P'tit tour USEP is intended for all schools affiliated to the USEP wishing to lead a class project which combines education in road safety: the pedestrian child in town, dangers along the road and Education in responsibility. Without forgetting also Education to the environment and sustainable development, the respect and discovery of the local flora and fauna, the discovery of architectural heritage and of course, sports activities with a walk.

This year, 200 students participated in the hike on the theme: “to the sea”. It was an opportunity for teachers to mobilize students through a sports meeting.

This nationwide event reflects the will of the UEP to develop "learning together and living together" highlighted in the new kindergarten programs. _AF
