On January 23, then on January 30, ACS ZEPIN organized its 5th and 6thth edition of guided tours of historical sites on the island. About forty participants, given the limited places in relation to sanitary measures, discovered or rediscovered the heritage of Saint-Martin.
The members and sympathizers of the association had the pleasure of discovering the history of Fort Louis and the selected historical sites, told by Christophe, Mark and Xavier, in order to know the history of the inhabitants of the island, from 3000 years BC to the present day.
The excursion ended around 13 p.m. with the handing out of prizes for a fun quiz on the information retained throughout the visit. Draws and the raffle allowed the winners to be rewarded, around an aperitif served to take away.
The President of ACS ZEPIN, Xavier Mirre-Minori, warmly thanks all the participants, the volunteers, as well as the Les Fruits de Mer association with which ACS ZEPIN has been working in partnership for several years.
Special thanks to the guide Christophe who has accompanied the association since the launch of visits to historic sites. Thanks to Quick Silver, Thiriet store, Au Tour de la Ferme, Grape Wine, Compu Pro, Librairie des îles, Busco grocery store, for supporting the association in its actions to reward the winners.
This event supports educational projects in schools, colleges and high schools in the area.
