Last Friday, March 17, the President of the Collectivity of Saint-Martin, Louis Mussington, had the honor of receiving the visit of the Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, Silveria E. Jacobs, at the Hôtel de la Collectivité in Marigot.
More accustomed to meeting on the ground during official events, the two major political figures of the island of Saint-Martin / Sint Maarten found themselves in the stronghold of Louis Mussington, in Marigot. This courtesy visit was an opportunity to discuss cooperation issues in a common desire to strengthen ties between the two parts of the island. The two elected officials have decided to meet regularly in order to exchange information and move forward on common subjects such as education, culture, tourism and health prevention. _VX
