Jean-François Carenco, the Minister Delegate for Overseas Territories, arrived in Martinique on Tuesday evening. He spends 24 hours there and takes off this evening for Guadeloupe from where he will leave Thursday early evening for Paris. In particular, he must meet with local elected officials, employer organizations, trade unions representing artists, the regional fisheries committee and the transport federation. In the two islands, Jean-François Carenco must also meet with the members of the price, margin and income observatories.
This first official trip to the West Indies – the second since the appointment of the new government – does not provide for a passage through Saint-Martin.
