The month of June was beneficial for Pôle Caraïbes: attendance at the airport located in Guadeloupe increased by 4,3%, for a total of 149.991 passengers. “These good results can be explained largely by the good behavior of the traffic on the majority of the networks and the delay of the weekend of Pentecost (June against May in 2016)”, indicates the manager of the airport by way of press. The attractive fares to Miami have had a great impact: the number of passengers has jumped by 79% (compared to June 2016). As for the Northern Islands, they also recorded satisfactory results with growth of 12,5%. The results for the first half of 2017 are positive: “Traffic increased by + 6,3% (transit included), with 1.229.137 passengers handled.” _EH
