On September 10, four days after Irma passed, KC went to her parents' bar located on the Oyster Pond marina. There, he surprises DJ, a fifty-something from Gironde, filling a basket with bottles of alcohol. She entered through the door at the back of the establishment, which was already broken.

KC asks DJ what she's doing there. She replied: "first come, first served". And that in any case his parents would be reimbursed by insurance. As he protests she throws a bottle in his direction, then another which also smashes against the ground.

Cited to appear before the criminal court this Thursday, February 2 for theft and violence with threat of a weapon (the bottles), DJ who denied the facts during the hearings, is absent at the hearing. Her lawyer explains that she is a restaurateur on the Dutch side and that she had to go to work because she lost all her staff after Irma. An absence that does not work in his favor. "She didn't bother going to court. It is a shame because when you are innocent it is better to come ”comments the prosecutor Yves Paillard.

The court found DJ guilty of all the facts and sentenced her to two months suspended prison sentence and a fine of 1000 euros. He also receives the constitution of civil party of KC and his stepfather MD and orders DJ to pay them respectively 500 and 2500 euros.
