Pierre left from March 27 to April 3 with the Guadeloupe League to play the Republic Bank Junior Open in Trinidad. A very big junior tournament with more than 80 players divided into 3 categories, 11-13, 14-15, 16-17 years old. This tournament was played over 3 laps, on a magnificent course in a valley, very hilly with devilish greens.
Pierre was the leader during the 3 laps, and finished first in his category 11-13 years old. He won first prize in all categories for best international player (score 229, par72). A very positive assessment for our local hope. The next meeting for Pierre will be the Sint-Marteen Open on April 16 and 17. _AH
