Pélicarus, the Saint-Martin youth association in France, is launching its campaign to recruit mentors, godmothers and godchildren for the 2020/2021 academic year.
“As every year, Pélicarus offers newcomers leaving Saint-Martin to be sponsored by a member of the association in order to assist them with their installations in hexagonal France”, explains the association. The sponsorship pole of the association puts the godfathers in touch with their godchildren. Remote support can be set up if necessary. The role of the godfather or the godmother is to answer the questions of the young person and to accompany him in his steps: search for accommodation, discovery of the city, contracts to be taken out, etc. The association invites those interested to fill out a form available on its Facebook page, Pelicarus.
