HERITAGE: Discover Saint-Martin differently with ACS Zepin

The ACS Zepin association, created in 1998, aims to promote cultural, educational, artistic, sporting and digital activities and intends to continue in this vein for the year 2022 with a guided tour of the historic sites of Saint-Martin.

Sunday, January 23 will mark the fifth edition of this day of discovery combining culture, heritage and essential buildings of the territory. Participants will be able to learn not only the history of each site visited but also numerous anecdotes narrated by two exceptional guides in the persons of Mark Yokohama, co-founder of the "Les fruits de mer" association and animator of the Amuseum Naturalis museum. , partner of the event, located next to the Galion ranch before Quartier d'Orléans, whose cultural knowledge of Saint Martin is as vast as  exciting ; and Christophe Henocq, whose many hats and diverse and varied experience suggest the high quality of the next guided tour: head of archaeological and scientific mission for the Collectivity, archaeologist, radio host, editor of tourist magazines, creator of the first museum of Saint-Martin and finally initiator of the Nature Reserve. Whether you are a fine connoisseur of the territory of Saint-Martin and its heritage or whether you are new to the island's historic sites, the visit on January 23 will join the list of past excursions whose success has been repeated in over the editions. The meeting is fixed at 8:30 am at the foot of Fort Louis in Marigot. The start of the visit to the fort will begin at 8:45 am. The departure by bus will follow at 9 am for a morning that will take you back in time. Return to Fort Louis at 30:12 p.m. Places are limited and the activity remains subject to the health conditions issued by the Prefecture.
