As part of the European Heritage Days 2024, the Collectivité of Saint-Martin and its Cultural Affairs Department are organizing guided tours of the historic sites of Saint-Martin on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September.
Created in 1984 under the name of “Journées Portes Ouvertes des Monuments Historiques” by the Ministry of Culture, the European Heritage Days aim to show as many people as possible the extraordinary wealth of our heritage through unique events, unusual visits and exceptional openings. During these days, you will be able to follow three renowned guides: Christophe Henocq for the visit of the Grand-Case saltworks (2 visits offered on Saturday morning), Louis Maccow on the visit of the Guavaberry Colombier tradition (2 visits offered in the morning on Saturday and 2 others on Sunday) and Mark Yokoyama, for the Old House in Quartier d'Orléans (a single visit on Saturday in the second half of the morning). Registration is simple via the online form where you will also find all the information on the visit times (see Info), or the QR code available on the event poster. _Vx
