Yesterday was held the 6th edition of "Job dating" on the premises of Pôle Emploi, in Concordia. Over 200 job offers, all sectors combined, were offered to candidates.
The launch of this event took place in the presence of the prefect Anne Laubies and the territorial councilor Antero de Jesus Santos Paulino. By invitation only, candidates therefore had the opportunity to meet one of the 24 companies present: nearly 400 people were able to interview a recruiter for a few minutes. Pôle Emploi specifies that “all job seekers were able to benefit, according to their needs, from preparation in the context of a workshop to make or modify their CV or train to convince in 5 minutes, in order to be finished ready for the event ”. This operation should improve unemployment figures in Saint-Martin, which increased in August: 4385 people in category A were registered with Pôle emploi.
