Boats registered in Sint Maarten and Anguilla are again authorized in the waters of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy under certain conditions.

Pleasure craft

Pleasure ships from Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Sint Maarten and Anguilla are again authorized to stop at the quay or at anchor. However, only persons with a compelling reason and a negative PCR test dating back less than 72 hours can disembark. They must also complete a sworn declaration. Residents of Saint-Martin, St Maarten and Anguilla are exempt from PCR testing if the stopover is less than three days.

Passenger ship

Maritime shuttles, charters, yachts can stop at the dock or anchor provided that the passengers present a compelling reason, a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours and a declaration on their honor that they have no symptoms . The carrier must also provide the CROSS and the port authority with the passenger list. Passengers who are residents of Saint Martin, St Maarten and Anguilla are exempt from PCR testing if the stay is less than three days.

Day charter

Daytime navigation (round trip) from the same embarkation / disembarkation point (Dutch part included) is permitted provided that passengers provide a self-declaration of absence of symptoms. They should not, however, provide a PCR test and a compelling pattern.

Finally, it is reminded that any person on board a ship, whether for personal or professional use, must respect barrier gestures and wear a protective mask. On passenger ships, the health measures implemented must be indicated in a document.

These new rules have been in effect since January 21.
