The Collectivity of Saint-Martin, after having communicated on several occasions on the development project of the Baie de l'Embouchure, informs the population of the restarting of the work on the Galion site, during this week.
As a reminder, this project consists of finishing cleaning the site and creating a natural arrangement for the public. It is planned to create different routes, health, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and hiking, as well as observation points and picnic and rest areas.
The vice-president, Steven Patrick, visited three local radio stations at the end of last week to clarify the content of the project and explain the stakes of this development initiated in partnership with the Conservatoire du littoral, owner of the land and master of the 'book with the financial support of the State.
The Collectivity of Saint-Martin supports this project which will benefit the entire population accustomed to enjoying places with their family.
The services of the Living Environment Delegation and the Coastal Conservatory are available to the public to answer any additional questions about this environmental project.
