SWIMMING: The member of the Carib Swim Team, Joey Schvartz-Arnaud crowned vice-champion of France in the 400m medley!


Qualified in six medleys during the French championships organized in Pau, Joey Schvartz-Arnaud distinguished himself by obtaining the title of vice-champion of France in the 400m medley.

The resident of the Carib Swim Team achieved the second best French performance of the year in 5'07''95. 

In the other races, he reached all the finals with places ranging from fourth to tenth French.

On the initiative of the president of the Martinique League, Joey also had the opportunity to join the “Antilles-Guyana” team for the departmental cup. This brings together the 16 best Departmental teams in France each year. The swimmers compete over a day through relays and various individual races. The team finished fourth, a superb performance that allowed the best swimmers in the Caribbean to come together and get to know each other better. These results show that swimming is doing well in the Caribbean basin and that it allows young people to experience great sporting adventures. _AF
