Jef Follner participated, on July 1, in the France Long Distance Masters Championships in Open Waters organized in Trois Ilets, Martinique. Our Saint-Martin champion finishes in an honorable 15th place.
With a time of 1h03'43 ”, Jef Follner is generally satisfied with his service carried out in Martinique waters.
"I am satisfied with my classification, I could not have hoped for better against the young veterans of 45 years" notes the champion of the North Islands.
During his time in Trois Ilets, Jef Follner had the chance to meet Coralie Balmy, swimming champion, Olympic bronze medalist in the 4x200m in 2012 in London and several times European champion in the 400m (see photo).
