0

At the initiative of the Rotary-club Saint-Martin Nord, Kimball Gallagher, renowned pianist and keyboard genius, will perform on Friday June 25 and Saturday June 26 at 17 p.m. at the Théâtre de la Chapelle in Orient Bay. He will perform selections from works by Chopin, Mozart and himself, with stories from Afghanistan and Burma. He will be accompanied by Josiane Artsen-Fleming, our “Callas” from Saint-Martin, who will accompany him vocally for Schubert's Ave Maria.

Kimball Gallagher, pianist-composer born in Boston, USA, is a globetrotter who has already performed on all the continents of the planet, in some thirty different countries. He created an association oriented towards the development of music for young people, called "88 International" (88 being the number of keys on a piano), established in New York, "Europe 88" in France, "Tunisia 88" in Tunisia, Burma, Taiwan, etc.

It is diversifying internationally in many other countries, and in particular on our Franco-Dutch island with its “SXM 88” project with the heads of various establishments concerned with extracurricular activities for young people in the field of music.

The profits of these 2 concerts will be entirely intended for this association "SXM 88".

Tickets at a price of € 15 per person are available on the website www.theatresxm.fr

It is advisable to reserve your seats quickly, given the "gauge" constraints on the number of spectators, in the current regulatory context.
