The 12th system of the hurricane season was named LARRY on September 1st. It could reach the stage of a major hurricane in the days to come

Tropical storm LARRY formed last Wednesday south of the Cape Verde Islands. It is currently evolving in environmental conditions conducive to its strengthening. Thus LARRY could reach the stage of hurricane before Friday and that of major hurricane (category 3) during the weekend estimate, the forecasters. Tropical Storm LARRY is moving west at about 30 km / h but is expected to move north this weekend, away from the West Indian Arc Islands.
