WEATHER / Tropical depression: heavy rains cannot be ruled out in the coming days

Tropical depression No. 7, which follows the tropical wave followed in recent days, is located about 1000 km east of the Antilles arc. It is moving at 22km / h and should keep this trajectory in the coming days according to Météo France, specifies Météo France.

“It should impact the north of the West Indies between Friday and Saturday near Antigua and Barbuda. Heavy stormy precipitation is expected there with an increase in winds up to 95 km / h and in the state of the sea up to 3 m”, warns  Meteo France.

The NHC estimates that the system could become a tropical storm named Fiona and impact the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Saint-Martin is also in the center of the possible trajectory cone of the NHC.
