Born just before the year 2000 with a unique frequency on the island of St. Barthélemy, RADIO TRANSAT was the first FM radio to offer a Pop-Rock program on the island with, in addition, close proximity to its inhabitants. Then, with the obtaining of a frequency on the island of St. Martin, the programs were expanded so that all of the Northern Islands could listen to it everywhere.
Since then, year after year, the radio has evolved obtaining 5 additional frequencies to be better broadcast in St. Martin and St. Barthélémy, and since 2012, to be also broadcast in Martinique and Guadeloupe. From the new Marigot studios in St. Martin, programs and signals are now broadcast on all French islands (North Islands, St. Martin & St. Barth and South Islands, Guadeloupe & Martinique), on all the other islands of the Caribbean arc by satellite and in the rest of the world in digital via its website and its application.
Several major cyclones did not get rid of the station, nor indeed the other events during all these years. In fact, the complete opposite happened!
