Following the discovery last Tuesday and Wednesday of two lifeless bodies near Coralita Beach in Oyster-Pond, the detached Procuratorate of Saint-Martin provides details on the investigation under way which is heading towards an accident at sea.
“Between November 13 and 14 at the end of the day, two bodies of young men, deprived of identity documents, recently drowned, were recovered near Coralita Beach, near a frail, weakly motorized boat and not identifiable, ”says the prosecution in its press release.
"Medical and scientific investigations are underway to confirm their identity, which could correspond to persons reported missing recently in Antigua.
The Saint-Martin Research Section is investigating the causes of death, in the absence for the moment of elements in favor of a criminal track, but rather of an accident at sea.
