Alcohol tests are often carried out by the police. To combat this killer plague, the Rotaract Saint-Martin Nord club announced that it had recently launched two awareness-raising operations called "SAM, the one who drives is the one who doesn't drink" near the Palm d'Or, in Orient Bay. According to club president Martine Beldor, "preventing and reducing risky behavior in a party environment, and thus putting road safety at the heart of concerns" is one of the major axes of these campaigns. _EH
