Hobbies: Radio-controlled cars make the show at Sandy-Ground!

The Moto Action du Nord association organized on Saturday January 25, its first SXM RC DRAG RACE  132ft (40.23m) "when speed is a must", in the parking lot of the Stade Albéric Richards at Sandy-Ground.

As a reminder, the SXM DRAG RACE 132ft  is a stopped start acceleration race, with radio controlled cars, over a distance of a maximum of 40,23 meters / 132ft.

departure  is given two by two.  The course consists of a straight line track, traced on tar, concrete or sand, separated into 2 main areas. This round consisted of 2 categories BRACKET RACING and OUTLAW.

The objective of the SAGM DRAG RACE 132ft is to develop and present radio controlled model making (thermal, electric, etc.) to young people. A great evening for RC, with the exhibition of drones, planes, boats, cars. Over a hundred models of all kinds have been exhibited.

This great first brought together 32 enthusiasts, 23 drivers entered for the Drag Race (132ft / 40.23m standing start).  The OUT LAW category was won by RAPHAEL LAKE aka IRON MAN,  2nd CHAD WATHEY,  3rd NABIL LYVEN.

The Bracket Racing category  saw the victory of OLIVIER  GLASGOW  aka BOUVE,   2nd SHABBA  HODGE,  3rd JERRY NICHOLSON, to the applause of more than 300 spectators gathered along the circuit to admire the beautiful mechanics.
