Total deconfinement in French Polynesia begins today, Thursday, May 21, announced President Edouard Fritch. All activities are resuming their normal course, with the exception of the sale of alcohol, which remains subject to conditions.

President Edouard Fritch welcomed a “Back to normal life. Our efforts and sacrifices have paid off. ” He nevertheless recommends that his fellow citizens continue to apply barrier gestures and physical distance “Until the discovery of a vaccine.”
