Tax revenues have fallen more on the French side than on the Dutch side

The losses in tax revenue over the first half of 2020 are less significant on the Dutch side than on the French side: the COM recorded a 19% drop in revenue (-9,3 million euros) and the Sint Maarten government by 11% (- $ 9,77 M or € 8,21 M *).

In the first quarter, revenues increased more on the French side (+ 18% against + 10%) but in the second quarter, they fell further (-45% against -32%).

The shortfall in the first quarter is $ 4,26 million (€ 3,57 million) and $ 14 million (€ 11,79 million) in the second quarter for the Dutch government. It is 3,66 M € and 13 M € for the Collectivité of Saint-Martin.
