L'Express has just unveiled its 2015-2016 national ranking of hospitals and clinics, taking into account hospitalization data from 2014: 605 public and private establishments have been assessed and divided into 37 specialties. For Overseas, Reunion appears several times in the top 50: concerning the management of the aneurysm, the site of Saint-Pierre ranks 35th and 24th for cerebrovascular accident (stroke). As for the Saint-Denis site, it comes in 45th place for surgery for cancers of the aerodigestive tract. In this ranking, the Pointe-à-Pitre University Hospital also stands out with a 12th place in the management of prostate cancer. Finally, for stroke, Martinique University Hospital ranks 43rd.
