Pupils and teachers from Emile Choisy and Marie Amélie Leydet schools learn about "Street Soccer"

A "Street Soccer" meeting took place last Friday between Concordia 1st degree schoolchildren and the "Street Kings" of the Netherlands, true specialists in this sport  spectacular !

Fake kick, roulette, hook, stepover, double contact, small and large bridge, here are some technical football gestures that students and teachers from the Emile Choisy and Marie Amélie Leydet schools have been able to admire and try with these outstanding technicians.

This operation is part of the "30 minutes of physical activity" scheme, the objective of which is to get students moving beyond the time of physical education and sports.

The National Education services in Saint-Martin would like to thank the Saint-Martin Football League for this activity which appealed to young and old alike.

There is no doubt that new Street Soccer games should be organized soon on the island. Far from the large infrastructure required to set up a classic football match, Street Soccer is a sport that can be played anywhere and requires few resources: a ball and two goals (which can also be represented by natural objects). The game can begin! _AF
