The Archipiades
While waiting for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil next August, the leaders of the Archiball club have set themselves to Olympic time by organizing, last Saturday, on the Galion beach, the Archipiades!
About fifty participants took up the challenge of the Archipiades in a friendly but also sporty atmosphere! Many events were on the program throughout the day, including the famous sack race, blind race, an original rowing surf race or even the trying tire towing competition. Each team consisted of six members. The Archigirls players have managed to fare well by competing with the "Gros Bras".
In terms of results, "SXM Surf Explorer" won this 1st edition of the Archipiades ahead of "Orangina" (U 14 of the Archiball), "Les Boss" rising to the third step of the podium.
After the effort, it's time for comfort! The medal ceremony and the drawing of lots for the rugby school raffle closed the sporting part of the day to make way for the traditional 3rd half dear to all rugby players. Again, everyone was in good… Olympic form! _AF
