The RSMA of Guadeloupe meets the entrepreneurs of Saint Martin

Little is known but the pedagogical courses of the RSMA (Adapted Military Service Regime) of the Antilles (and more precisely of the Jaille in Guadeloupe) which benefit young volunteers are most often in adequacy with the needs of the companies in particular in period of strong need for manpower as is the case in a phase, more or less long, of reconstruction and restart of the activity after the passage of a major hurricane.

The staff of the RSMA were present for the clearing of roads in Saint-Martin from the first hours after the hurricanes and everyone was able to observe their "rigor and their commitment" as indicated by Colonel Pélissier, Head of the RSMA of Guadeloupe, during a conference with the socio-professionals of the island.

These, invited by Colonel Pélissier and received in community by the 2nd vice-president YawoNyuiadzi, in charge of economic development, were able to receive information on the 30 trades taught by the RSMA and which range from bodywork-painting to driving road vehicles through the sanitary installation or even carpentry in buildings.

Surrounded by some of his collaborators, including two training officers, Colonel PELISSIER indicated that the RSMA will begin a “Hotel Supply Chain” course from December 2017 with, in particular, training of reception agents, cooks and servers.

Open to all new "curriculum ideas", the Head of Corps said he was attentive to the needs of entrepreneurs, not to mention the terms and constraints regarding the creation of new programs.

With a professional reintegration rate of 82% (in 2016) the RSMA stands out as a serious alternative for young people looking for benchmarks and a professional future. All training is available on the website www.rsma.gp or from Major Dominique TARSIA (insertion-pro@rsma-ga.com).
