Former PAF chief publishes first thriller

The former police commander and head of the PAF in Saint-Martin Pascal Drampe seems to be enjoying his new job - or hobby - which is writing. After having published his first book in early 2019, he now signs “Insoupçonnable vengeance” with Bod editions. If “Cop, a profession that kills” * was an autobiographical book in which its author described the job of a policeman, “Insuspected vengeance” is a novel, precisely a thriller.

The main character is therefore a police commander whose daughter has been kidnapped. He will conduct the investigation alone and do everything to find it within the time limit imposed by the kidnappers.

It is pure fiction even if Pascal Drampe was inspired by investigations he carried out during his career. He mainly drew on mafia deals linked to car traffic in the South of France, in Romania and Tunisia.

He also baptized his main character Blanco, his own nickname given to him by the community.

"Unsuspected Revenge" is the first part of the Blanco series of thrillers, the second of which is already being written. It is available in electronic format and soon in paper format.

* Nestor editions.
