Caribbean Karate Oyama (CKOSXM)

The CKOSXM participated for the second time in this international championship in the presence of many countries (South Africa, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Spain, USA, Italy, Russia, USA and Saint Martin) with notably 3 professional fights for belts WFKO. The CKOSXM entered the competition without complex by passing their first fights to find themselves in the finals:

Noa Tasso wins for the second time the title in the 10/12 year old category at the end of a very beautiful fight in which Noa demonstrated all her qualities as a fighter and all her determination. He defended the colors of Saint-Martin with dignity while being the leader of the team. He also won the title of Best Fighter in his category.

Jeanne Velay also arrives in the final at the end of very beautiful fights. She finished in second place. An excellent result for his first participation in an international championship.

Emma Quetat is a very good fighter, she wins the title in her category at the end of a very disputed final.

Marie Estelle Esposito finished first in her category by finishing her tournament against a very high level black belt. Very good preparation for the French championships.

Hugo lossouarn was playing his first final in an international tournament against a very tenacious fighter. He showed great courage and finished in second place. With a little experience and maturity, he will be among the best fighters in his category, very nice final.

Yann Durand played a very nice quarter-final. He failed in the semi-final at the foot of the podium. There remain of these combatants which does not give up anything and all the instructors are unanimous to recognize that it is not far from the first places and will help it in this step.

Alexandre ginkels is a very high level fighter at his age, perfectly mastering the techniques of Kyokushinkai karate. Alexandre had an excellent tournament, winning two knockout fights, including the final. For his first participation, he enchanted the delegations present for his mastery and selflessness. He won the title of his category and was rewarded as the best fighter.

Caribbean Karate Oyama would like to thank the parents for their dedication and their trust in the club's instructors. An adventure that has lasted for ten years. The Caribbean Karate Oyama also thanks the Collectivity of Saint-Martin allowing young people to represent the island with pride. _AF
