The trial of Daniel Gibbs, Valérie Damaseau and Annick Petrus has been postponed until October 28. The dismissal had been requested several weeks ago by the lawyer of Annick Petrus, master Juliette Chapelle for health reasons (maternity leave) and had been acquired since cases planned at the end of 2019 were enlisted today instead; initially the magistrates had not programmed other files as of today in order to be able to devote themselves only to that of the three elected officials.

This morning Daniel Gibbs and Valérie Damaseau were present, Annick Petrus was absent.

This is the third referral. The case was first called on December 19, 2019 but had to be sent back because lawyers had not received the full copy of the file. The date of March 26 was then set but due to confinement, the trial was postponed until today.

As a reminder, Valérie Damaseau is accused of infringing the freedom of access or the equality of candidates in public contracts between September 7, 2017 and September 5, 2018. Annick Pétrus is accused of the same facts (when ' she was vice-president) but over a different period, from January 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019.

As for the president, he is also accused of these same facts over more periods: from September 7, 2017 and September 5, 2018, January 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019, October 14, 2017, from May 16, 2018 to January 9, 2019, from January 1 to December 31, 2018, January 1, 2018 to May 24, 2019 and January 1, 2018 to June 5, 2019, each period corresponding to a market.

In addition, Daniel Gibbs is also being prosecuted for the removal, embezzlement or destruction of property from a public deposit by the custodian or one of his subordinates between September 7, 2017 and September 5, 2018 and from October 2017 to December 21, 2017. (soualigapost.com)
