A beach attendant and a taxi driver were convicted in their absence at the end of June by the Saint-Martin criminal court for selling narcotic products (cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy in particular) on the sidelines of a demonstration.

Several foreign currencies were found on them: American dollars, Canadian, Trinidadian, euros.

The prosecution requested a sentence of ten months in prison against the two individuals. In the end, the court handed down a sentence of four months in prison.

Two other people are accused of the same facts but their trial was postponed because they requested a lawyer and a delay to prepare their defense.
