On Friday September 24, the nursery and elementary schools of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin participated in the 12rd edition of the National Day of School Sports on the theme of sport, a factor of sustainable development.
“The objective of this day was to promote school sport and to show the dynamism of our students. And the goal is fulfilled! The large participation of schools is proof of this. The originality of the sports games created by the students in connection with the theme was there! Moreover, all these games will enrich the “30 minutes of daily physical activity” device, underlines Andy Armongon, district educational advisor in charge of EPS.
This day was the occasion, during this new school year, to recall the values of school sport: secularism, solidarity and citizenship.
The North Islands constituency aims to position 100% of its schools in the “Generation 2024” label.
