Seafood will be celebrating World Wetlands Day tomorrow at the Amuseum Naturalis, on Tuesdays in Grand-Case. The association has announced that it will launch “Crabitat”, a “fascinating new exhibition featuring fiddler crabs which can be found in large numbers around almost all the ponds of St. Martin”. This day, which is dedicated to raising public awareness of wetlands, celebrates the anniversary of the signing of the 1971 Ramsar Convention in Iran. “Crabitat is a great way to see these adorable and ecologically important creatures up close,” explains Mark Yokoyama, co-curator of the museum open from 16 pm to 20 pm, located at 96 boulevard de Grand-Case. _EH
