Dangerous "games" and school violence: intervention of the BPDJ at the Mont des Accords college

0

For some time now, a new dangerous game has appeared in schools  (Editor's note: colleges) and worry parents and educational staff alike.

This is the latest silly find of some students. During recess, our college students have fun throwing bottles of water at each other. A game which unfortunately ended up causing a tragedy within the Mont des Accords college.

Indeed, the principal assistant was in the wrong place at the wrong time and received the projectile at the level of the neck. The victim had to be transported by firefighters to Louis-Constant Fleming Hospital after losing consciousness.

The establishment reacted immediately by appealing to its partners and in particular the BPDJ (Brigade for the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency).

Action was thus carried out by this specialized gendarmerie unit for two days in order to educate some 908 students and parents on the risks of these dangerous games, violence in general and also on the legal consequences.

It is now up to the students to keep their heads down! _AF
