In a press release, the Collectivity is informing the public of the reopening of the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium in Marigot to sports activities, as of Monday, November 29.

Schools and associations can be welcomed at the Sports Hall and on the stadium from Monday. The locker rooms will also be open to schools and sports competitions from Monday, November 29.

The Collectivity specifies that, in recent weeks, it has carried out emergency work requested for a long time by the users of the structure, mainly work to secure the site.

Namely, the installation of a rigid fence to replace the wall of the refectory of the former Nina Duverly school, the repair of the access gate to rue de Hollande and the gates inside the stadium, as well as the anti - ants on the playing field.

When will the synthetic lawn break?

Speaking of playing field, the break from a synthetic turf is always desperately awaited among footballers (young and old) who do not ask for the moon but simply to practice their sport in a stadium worthy of the name! _AF
