They are no longer allowed to be on the market because of their suction cup car

0

Two itinerant merchants who had a stand on the Marigot tourist market have just been refused renewal of their authorization by the Executive Council on the grounds that they stored their goods in so-called suction cups cars, that is to say in the vans permanently stored on public roads near the site.

Two others had obtained an unfavorable opinion from the Committee on Economic, Tourism and Rural Affairs for the same reason. But during the transmission of their file to the executive council which takes the final decision, the two merchants had "regularized their situation" and were thus able to obtain the renewal of their authorization to install their stand on the market.

As a reminder, letting your vehicle park in the same place permanently is considered as improper parking which is prohibited by the highway code.
