On Saturday, January 4, within the pediatric department was organized a recreational afternoon at the initiative of the hospital team for hospitalized children who showed courage throughout the year 2019.
The activities focused on the making of crowns, and the tasting of galettes des rois to celebrate the Epiphany.
The children were all rewarded with gifts collected elsewhere by the Saint-Martin community who generously responded to the call for service.
A big thank you to the care teams who took pleasure in welcoming the children in a context outside of hospitalization and sometimes painful care for young patients.
A big thank you to the Territorial Youth Committee who collected many gifts for the young patients as well as for their presence and their time on this day of sharing.
Finally a big thank you to Perched Cat, Buzz, Super U and Boudins des tropiques for their generous donations.
All these attentions made it possible to read smiles and happiness on each face. _AF
