The former president of the National Cancer Institute Agnés Buzyn - appointed head of the High Authority for Health (HAS) - takes office today in Saint-Denis. She succeeds Professor Jean-Luc Harousseau. The HAS is an independent public authority which exercises several missions including the evaluation of health products and the organization of healthcare and public health.
