Always on top ! The protégés of Gratienne Rom once again displayed their talents during the interregional championships organized on May 14 in Fort-de-France. Titled in team and individual, the Gym SXM club further expands its fine sporting record with four new gold medals and two silver. Who says better ?
A hundred gymnasts under the colors of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana and of course Saint-Martin were present in Fort-de-France to win the coveted title of Antilles-Guyana champion by team or individually.
In view of the results, it is clear that the Saint-Martin delegation has only left crumbs for the other gymnasts involved in this high-level competition. Evidenced by the first place won as a team by Wai Maria, Naidy, Jade and Julicia. Congratulations girls, you are Antilles-Guyana champions!
Obviously not satisfied with their title obtained as a team, the Gym SXM club was keen to also shine in individual competitions.
Here again, all categories combined, the "girls" of Gratienne made a strong impression by collecting a fine harvest of medals, including three in gold and two in silver!
Enough to give a triumphant welcome to the young champions on their arrival at Grand-Case airport. _AF
